Level Designer - Killspace Entertainment
My first professional job as a level designer, I was working with friends from Obsidian who started their own company called Killspace Entertainment. There I was the principal designer for Yar's Village B, the second stage of the campaign. I did bug fixing and polish for other levels as we shipped the game. Though at the time I had no prior experience with LUA, I was given a weekend deadline of learning it and implementing the game's tutorial events and UI by the following Monday morning. Said tutorial did in fact work, it was polished and shipped with the game. Lucky for me I opted to take AP computer science in high school which introduced me to C++, so learning LUA was more about syntax than it was about learning how to program in a weekend thankfully.
